JACQUELINE FARAGHER (NÉE O’CONNOR),

2021

It is with extreme sadness that the family announces her sudden passing at home on July 9th at the age of 83 years. Jack is now reunited with her loving husband Albert and her only son Martin. She is survived by her 2 daughters Sandra (Alan) Kirby and Lynn Faragher (Paul Tremblay). She leaves her grandchildren Aaron Kirby (Taylor Allen), Meagan (Dean) Dagelman, Alexandre (Carmen) Tremblay and Samuel Tremblay. She will be sadly missed by her great grandchildren who loved her dearly, Asher, Jaxson and Olivia. Jack is survived by her brothers Michael (Anne-Marie) O’Connor, and Roger O’Connor, and also devoted sister Doreen O’Connor. She is predeceased by her parents James and Estelle, and sisters Pamela, Anne and Alice. Jack spent most of her free time quilting beautiful pieces of work for family, which will always be cherished. She was a devoted member of the Kirkland Lake Quilt Guild winning many awards. She was also a valued member of the sisterhood of Beta Sigma Phi for many years. She will be greatly missed by all of the women in these social groups.Cremation

I was so sad to hear of Jacquie’s passing. I remember her fondly from when my family lived up the street and I spent time at their home with Sandy and Lynn. My deepest condolences to the whole family.

Hi Mike and Doreen, I’ve just come across Jackie’s obit and wanted to send my condolences – albeit 2+ years later. Jackie was always so welcoming to me and I remember her as fun-loving and warm. Jackie helped me understand ‘the north’ and I’ll never forget her for that. I hope you are both doing well. Annie

Sadie & Ken Nelson, March 1, 2021

I am truly saddened to learn of Jackie’s passing. She was always a delight to deal with. Even on her worse day, she brought a smile, a cheery greeting, and her always keen interest in others. It was always a pleasure discussing books with her when she visited the Library or discussing quilts and such; she was so generous with her knowledge, insight, and encouragement. I am confident that she has left all her family and friends a wealth of goodness to sustain and uplift them for a very long time.
