Kim and family
So sorry for your loss. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.
Ivy loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She also enjoyed spending time in the common room of her building with friends playing darts, cards, bingo, ceramics, and so much more.
Ivy is predeceased by her son Bradley Wasnick. Left to celebrate her life are her daughters Kim Wasnick (Steve), Tina Rouse (Steve), and sons Gary Wasnick and Murray Parkinson; grandchildren Toni Laflair (John), Travis Wilson, Dalton Laflair (Jordyn) and great grandchildren, Kamdon, Kohynn, Krew, Annaleece, Jocelyn, Meridian, and Cashis. She had eight siblings and leaves behind three sisters Alice, Yvonne and Julie and many nieces and nephews.
Ivy will be missed by family and those she met along her journey of life she called friends. What made her happiest was being around her great grandchildren in her later years. Her smile lit up each time she was around them. Because Ivy’s granddaughter Toni and great grandson Cashis lived close, she was able to enjoy many adventures with them in her last years of her life. Rest in Peace sister, mom, auntie and nanny. Forever in our Hearts.
Family will welcome friends at Timiskaming Funeral Cooperative – French Family Chapel (111 Burnside Drive, Kirkland Lake, ON P2N 3L1) on Monday, September 30, 2024 from 10:00 a.m. until service time at 11:00 a.m. Ivy will be laid to rest in the Kirkland Lake Cemetery on Tuesday, October 1, 2024.
