Irene Marie (Biggs) Foley passed away in Kirkland Lake at 0900 on March 11, 2014 at the age of 87. Irene is predeceased by her mother Florida and father Arthur, her brothers Joseph, Rene and Lucien and sisters Bertha, Blanche and Simone. She is survived by her sister Theresa Scally and brother Maurice. Irene is lovingly remembered by her son Robert Foley and grandchildren Robert and Jette of Vancouver B.C. and Ottawa On. Irene was born in Timmins Ontario on May 2, 1926. She attended school at Ecole Assumption. She then pursued a career as a Lab Technician at Kirkland & District Hospital for 20 years, retiring there. Irene enjoyed doing crafts, swimming and walking. The funeral mass will be held at Holy Name of Jesus Parish on Monday, March 17, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. with Father Wayne Officiating.
