EASTMAN, Hazel
Hazel Isabel Eastman (Laffin) died peacefully January 17, 2014 at Temiskaming Hospital surrounded by her loving family. She was predeceased by her husband Eric in 1995. She was the beloved mother of her daughters Trudy (Terry WIlcox), Judy, and son Tom. She is survived by her much loved grandsons Keith and Steven Wilcox, her sister Nellie Koniewich, Jim and George Burns and their families. She is also survived by her great nieces Lisa Smith, Bonnie Lynn David, Kristena Lucas and their families in Alberta. Mom enjoyed cooking and was famous for her homemade jam, cookies, and soup, which she shared with friends and neighbours. Mom was well known in the community an will be remembered fro her kind and generous nature. Her legacy will be her children, grandchildren, family and friends who were privileged to have known her. Her final request was fro those who cherished her to do a random act of kindness to another in her memory. Per Mom's wishes she has been cremated and did not wish a service.
