GOSSELIN, Gregory Allan

1992 - 2021

We are deeply saddened to announce the unexpected passing of Gregory Gosselin on June 6th, 2021 at the age of 28. Born August 21, 1992 in New Liskeard, Ontario, Greg immediately filled the lives of those around him with joy. After graduating from ESCSM in 2010, Greg pursued the workforce where he found his passion for driving trucks. Greg went on to pursue another dream of his and proudly became a volunteer firefighter for the Round Lake & Area Fire Department in January 2020. Greg also enjoyed refereeing hockey and umpiring youth and adult baseball. Greg was determined to provide for his two boys and give them the life he felt they deserved. His children meant more to him than anything else in the world, something he often mentioned. He was unendingly proud of Mason & Liam and always tried his best to support them. Aside from spending time with his sons, Greg was happiest when surrounded by family and friends. In his spare time, Greg enjoyed playing cards and watching the Montreal Canadiens with those closest to him. He was a loving uncle to Jaxon & Lexie and adored them immensely. Greg was a big teddy bear with a gentle soul and a heart of gold who loved to have a good time and bring joy and laughter to everyone around him. He is survived by his parents Gaëtan & Wendy Gosselin, his sister Ashley (Maxime) Dechamplain, his children; Mason and Liam, his nephew and godson Jaxon, and his niece Lexie. He is predeceased by his grandparents Maurice & Aurore Gosselin and Allan & Margaret Cline as well as his cousin Stacey Lamoureux. Gregory will forever be remembered by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Greg’s family and friends love him tremendously and will miss him more than words can say. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Gregory may be directed by e-transfer to masonliamgosselin@hotmail.com. Donations will be used to help with funeral expenses as well as to help financially support Mason & Liam and for their well-being. Due to the current pandemic, a celebration of Greg’s life will be held at a later date.
