LIVELY, Gordon

It is with great sorrow that the family of Mr. Gordon Lively, announce his sudden passing at the Temiskaming Hospital on Saturday, November 30, 2013 at the age of 63. Gordon was born in Kirkland Lake Ontario on July 16, 1950 to Vernon and Ella Lively. He was married to Dianne Genier in Kapuskasing on August 5, 1972. Gordon will be sadly missed by his wife Dianne, his children Derek and his wife Genvieve, Pam and her husband Patrick St-Amant, and Kim and her husband Taylor Shonwise. Also left to mourn are his grandchildren Aline, William, Noah, Zackary, Vincent, Ella and Emmett. Dear brother of Donald. Predeceased by his parents Vernon and Ella (nee Gauvreau), his sister Diane and his brother Patrick Lively. Gordon worked for ONTC / Ontera for 34 years until his retirement. He was a nature guy, Gordon loved hunting, fishing, gardening and tinkering. He also loved spending time with his family and going on trips with his wife. A very social man, Gordon loved to talk. Gordon's family will receive friends at the Perrin Funeral Chapel on Saturday, December 7, 2013 from 10 am until noon. Commencing at noon, there will be words of remembrance followed by a funeral service conducted by Fr. John Lemire. If desired, donations to the Temiskaming Hospital Cardiac Rehab Program will be gratefully acknowledged.
