It is with great sadness that the family of Mr. Gordon William Collings announces his unexpected passing at the Englehart & District Hospital on Friday, March 14, 2014 at the age of 66 years. Gordon was predeceased by his first spouse Edith and father Gordon John Kimberly Collings. He is survived by his spouse Perlita Collings; mother Catherine Collings of Scotland; brother Bruce (Geraldine) Collings of Scotland; step children Tish (Robert) Desloges of Sturgeon Falls and Terry Patrick Blanchard of Calgary; loving Papa to his grandchildren Chloe and Myah Desloges; niece Jennifer Collings; nephew David Collings. The family will receive relatives and friends at French Family Funeral Home on Saturday, March 29, 2014 from 10:00 a.m. followed by a Funeral Service in the Chapel at 11:00 a.m. with Fr. Wayne Mills officiating. Refreshments & fellowship will follow in the French Family Reception Centre. Gordon will be laid to rest in the Round Lake Cemetery. Donations in Gordon’s memory may be made to Northern Cancer Research Foundation (41 Ramsey Lake Rd. Sudbury, ON. P3E 5J1) or to Timmins & District Humane Society (620 Mahoney Rd, Timmins, ON P4N 7G2).Offer Condolence for the family of Gordon Collings
