GERTRUDE ANDONEY,
Mrs. Gertrude Albertine Andoney passed away at the Temiskaming Hospital on Sunday, July 31, 2011 at the age of 91 years. Gertrude was born in North Cobalt on January 22, 1920 to the late Emma née Pagé and David Poisson. She was a long time resident of Temagami and Kirkland Lake and was an active member of Paroisse Assomption and Le Club 50+. Gertrude enjoyed family visits from her nieces and nephews and their extended families. She was predeceased by her husband Peter; siblings Oliva Gosselin, Marie-Ange Gosselin, Aline Leblanc and Philippe Poisson. Gertrude was also predeceased by her nieces Thérèse Lamontagne, Cécile Noël and Henriette Cusson and nephews Michel Leblanc, Jules Bélanger and Roger Gosselin. She is survived by her older sister Jeannette Bélanger; nieces Jeannine Colvin, Karen Kohl, Diane Poisson, Claire Last and Reina Gosselin and nephews Gérald Bélanger, Ron Bélanger, Jean Gosselin, Raymond Gosselin, Ronald Gosselin, Gilles Gosselin and Richard Poisson. Gertrude is also survived by Denis and Sharon Noël and many other great nieces and great nephews. The family will receive relatives and friends on Wednesday, August 3, 2011 at Teck Pioneer Residence from 10:00 a.m. followed by a Funeral Service in the Teck Pioneer Chapel at 11:00 a.m. with Fr. Henri Touaboy officiating. Gertrude will be laid to rest in the Kirkland Lake Cemetery. Donations in Gertrude’s memory may be made to Kirkland & District Hospital (P.O. Box 3000 Kirkland Lake, ON.
