LABRECHE, Gerard

Gérard Labrèche died on June 13, 2011, at the Tri-Town Extendicare Nursing Home. He was born in Clarence Creek on November 18, 1919, to Adolphe and Rose-Alba Labrèche. Mr. Labrèche married Marie Ange Leveille at St. Jean Baptiste Church in Earlton on June 23, 1943. He was dedicated to his family and he loved to play music and to do woodwork. Mr. Labrèche, who was predeceased by his wife in 2005 and by his grandson Pierre Labrèche in 1987, is survived by his children Yolande (Gilles) Lavigne, Rita (Jacques) Landry, Yvon (Micheline) Labrèche, Paul (Cecile) Labrèche, Lise (Bob) Thomson, Robert Labrèche, Nicole (James) Mudrick and Michel Labrèche. The funeral was arranged by Perrin Funeral Chapel in New Liskeard. Visitation is Friday, June 17, from 7-9 p.m. with the service to be conducted Saturday, June 18, at 11 a.m. at St. Jean Baptiste Church in Earlton by Father G. Turcott. Burial is at the Earlton Catholic Cemetery. Donations to the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated by the family. Condolences and donations may be left at www.perrinfuneralchapel.com.
