Gerald “Gerry” Wallace,

GERALD “GERRY” WALLACE,

2021

Born: December 14, 1944 – Died: May 24, 2016It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our husband, father and grandfather at the age of seventy one years. Gerry was predeceased by his mother Laura (née Swanson) and his father Charles Wallace. Gerry was the beloved husband of Beverley (née Winter) for fifty years. Loving father of Shelley Speed (Jeff), Steven (Dana) and a very proud grandfather to Cameron, Connor and McKenna Wallace and Brendan Speed. He was a dear brother to Larry (Heather), Brenda D’Aloisio (Guy) as well as many nieces and nephews. Gerry spent many years as a member of the Kirkland Lake & District School Board, first as a teacher and then as a Consultant of Special Services. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. On a vacation to the east coast, he discovered photography and it became a passion of his. He developed numerous interesting photos of insects, birds, flowers, mushrooms, old barns and various outstanding sceneries. In keeping with Gerry’s wishes, cremation will be held and directed by FRENCH FAMILY FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORIUM. Condolences for the family may be offered at https://www.frenchfamily.ca Offer Condolence for the family of Gerald “Gerry” Wallace

My most sincere condolences to Bev and her family on the loss of Gerry. I knew Gerry for a lot of years. We worked together at the “old” Town Hall back in the olden days, and then got reacquainted during our teaching years. He was always a lot of fun and who could ever resist that fabulous smile! May Angels help you through your time of grief, and help you remember all of the good times.
