It is with deep sadness the family announces the passing of Gerald “Gerry” French who passed away at the Teck Pioneer Residence on Monday, March 4, 2019. Gerry was predeceased by his father Jean Louis French and his mother Marie Louise (neé Portelance) and siblings; Marie, Andy, Adrien, René, Dan, Raymond, Rolly, Roger and Doreen. Jerry is survived by his sister Patricia Vachon and his children; Jerry (Linda) French, Dave (Bonnie Devine) French, Wayne (Diane) French, Donna Switzer, Allan (Tracy) French, Len French, Sandra (Dennis) Whitty, Gary Dobratz (Donna); grandchildren Ron (Christina), Sarah (Mike), Alex, Johnathon, Courtney (Adam), Jade (Jeremy), Jenna, Matthew, Brett and Brittany and great grandchildren Bryson, Devin, Anneliese, Maxwell, Benjamin, Jonathon and Michael and numerous nieces and nephews, cousins and extended families.Funeral Service:

What a great man. Anytime i saw him at TPR he always had a great big smile on his face and waved at me.

Sincerest condolences to Gerry’s family. Gerry was a good friend to my mother, Sally. She appreciated his kindness and companionship at their table in the dining room. Gerry loved music and his fiddle playing livened many pub nights.

My deepest Condolences to the Family. I will always remember Gerry and his great love for music. Enjoyed listening to him play the violin while Harvey played the guitar beside him at the Polish Hall.
