LABINE, GEORGINA – – Peacefully at the Kirkland & District Hospital on Thursday, June 7, 2007 in her 78th year. Loving wife of Oscar who together celebrated 53 years of marriage. Wonderful and caring mother of Rose-Anne Georgeoff (Peter), Angela Beckett-Phillips (Darren Phillips), Bernie Labine (Diane) and the late Richard. Fondly remembered by her twelve grandchildren – Jason, Miranda, Calvin, Aleena, Kievan, Deven, Krista, Colina, Richard, Anita, Joey and Ethan. Sadly missed by her sister Doris Saric and by her brothers Vernon Dufresne (Lucette), Mike Dufresne (Barbara) and Randy Dufresne. Predeceased by her parents, George & Victoria Dufresne, and by her sister Erma McKenna and brother Bernie Dufresne. Georgina was a dedicated nurse for many years at the Kirkland & District Hospital. She was a proud member of the CWL and was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. In her leisure, Georgina enjoyed a passion for quilting. Visitation will be held at the MONETTE & FRENCH FUNERAL HOME (450 Government Road West, Kirkland Lake, 705-567-3565) on Monday, June 11, 2007 from 2:00 – 4:00 & 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at the Holy Name of Jesus Parish on Tuesday, June 12, 2007 at 11:30 a.m. with Father Wayne Mills officiating. Cremation will follow and Georgina will be laid to rest with her beloved son in the Kirkland Lake Cemetery at a later date. If desired, memorial donations may be made to the Kirkland & District Hospital’s Renovate A Room Project (145 Government Road East, P.O.
