HOWARD, Georgina `Georgie`

In loving memory of Mrs. Georgina Howard who passed away at Englehart & District Hospital, on Monday, February 10, 2014 at the age of 89. Born in Toronto, Georgie served in the Air Force during WW 11 before coming north in 1952.As a young woman she worked as a secretary & then baby sat for family & friends. She was a wonderful caregiver & her love & affection was appreciated by the kids & their parents. Georgie loved animals, especially her beloved dog Sasha. She also enjoyed gardening, cooking, baking, crocheting, knitting & spending time with her family. Pre-deceased by her husband Jack, parents George & Lucy and many other beloved family members & pets. She is survived by her son Tom and grand-daughter Georgia-Rae, sister Barbara Burton, brother-in-law Harvey (Shirley) Howard, sister-in-law Irene Carter, many nieces, nephews and extended family. The family of the late Mrs. Georgina Howard will receive friends at the McDonald Funeral Home, Englehart, Wednesday, February 12, from 7:00 to 9:00 pm. A Funeral Service will be held at McDonald Funeral Home on Thursday, February 13, at 11:00 am. Mr. Stephen Wuerch officiating. In memory contributions to Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Englehart & District Hospital Fund or the Canadian Wildlife Federation will be greatly appreciated.
