Rob AKA MUFFIN will be dearly missed by EVERYONE at the “VUE”, It was a pleasure serving him, then getting to know him.. I gave him the nickname Muffin (not to sure if he liked it at first but he grew into it He will be truly missed a man that made my shifts enjoyable and funny, when his boys would call I just had to refer to them as “Timbits”…He was so proud of those timbits and his grandson…Just a true sweet man with a heart of gold…

I always saw a lot of Rob when I went up North to visit my parents (Marney and Ben Lacroix), especially at Christmas time. I’ll never forget last Christmas. My mom had some friends and family over, and we all ended up playing spoons. In one particularly dramatic moment, Rob and my aunt both reached for the same spoon at the same time. A struggle ensued, my aunt dove over Rob for the spoon and they both ended up on the floor. In the end, my aunt got the spoon, and Rob was flat on his back on the floor, still in his chair! No injuries were had, but needless to say, we all had a good laugh. Rob was like a member of the family, and I’ll sure miss him this Christmas. — Andrea McLeod

Rob was like an uncle to me. I would always called him my “Uncle Robbie” because he was a good family friend. He has known me since I was a baby. Rob was so sincere and loving and his smile always brightened my day. As the years moved on we drifted apart and we reunited a few years ago at my Aunt Judy and Uncle Andy’s house. With the years that we missed, he was still my Uncle Robbie. The same man who had the biggest heart made of gold! Uncle Robbie, you will be dearly missed by me. Until we meet again. I love you! Just wanted to send my sincere condolences to Rob’s family and close friends. We went to school together, Assumption, St. Joseph and then K.L.C.V.I., and shared many academic experiences. We always managed to run into each other during my visits home. I am sure that he will be missed by many. Jo-Anne

I am so sorry to know of Rob’s passing, it was a great shock for all of us. He was very proud of his sons Adam, Wesley and Ethan. And wished he had more time to spend with his grandson Alex. Rob and I spent hours talking in the garage and sharing old stories and memories. Rob was like family to us. He will be sorely missed. Love Derrick and Brenda

I’m very saddened to hear my old friend since kindergarten and I grew up with has passed away. I will always remember him as Robi, a name I called when we where very, very young because I could not say Robert in french. This name stuck with him almost until high school. I only seen Rob during my visits to Kirkland at Thanksgiving after moving away. We always talked about the stupid things we did growing up and how we somehow lived to laugh about them. I will always remember him. God bless the Brassard family and friends.

What a shock to learn of Rob’s passing. He was a kind and loving son-in-law, brother-in-law and uncle. He adored his sons and taught them valuable lessons in life. Our hearts go out to Adam, Wesley, Ethan and Kathy. Although we can’t be there tomorrow for the celebration of Rob’s life, our thoughts and prayers will be with you. God bless you all.
