Gayle Lynott,

GAYLE LYNOTT,

2021

Lynott, Gayle S.M. –Teacher, business owner, and animal lover is how Gayle will be remembered for years to come. Gayle’s story began August 16th, 1941 to the late Trudy and Dick Lynott, ended at Extendicare on December 1, 2020, while she was surrounded by the love of her close friends, Karen & Doug Laberge and Bev & Dave Hachey who always provided endless support. Although Gayle chose to not have children of her own, she held a very special place in her heart for her students both at school and in her craft classes. Gayle’s Craft Class was a place for children to gather and become creative and she loved every one of them to the fullest. You all made her life complete. Gayle was predeceased by her parents, Gertrude (Trudy), Richard (Dick) as well as her brother Richard Lynott. A special thanks to all her caregivers at Extendicare who made her stay a little more comfortable. As per Gayle’s wishes, cremation has taken place.Offer Condolence for the family of Gayle Lynott

When Barb & I visited Gayle at Extendicare, we were very heartened to find that Gayle had such good friends who cared for her, namely Karen & Doug, and Bev. Now Gayle, you can be at peace. I particularly remember the wonderful family get-togethers we had in Ottawa when uncle Dick, aunt Trudy, Rick and you would drive down for your annual visits. Cousin Mike and Margaret O’Connell

I share in your loss. Gayle was my first cousin and being older than me, she was my hero and role model when I was a teenager. I cherish the memories I have of our times together then and as adults when we enjoyed so many laughs. She was always so lively and upbeat. I am glad to know she had so many caring friends especially Doug and Karen.
