It is with deep regret that we announce Francis’ passing at his home on Tuesday, November 18, 2014 surrounded by his loving wife Paulette and many longtime friends. Francis was born in Mattawa on February 2, 1927 to the late Ernest and late Marie (née Duquette) Dobratz. Francis was also predeceased by his siblings Irene, Sonny, Raymond, Isadore, Oscar, Reggie, Ellen and Roselle. Francis was a longtime resident with Community Living Kirkland Lake. He will be deeply missed by his friends at 11 Station Road, staff of Community Living Kirkland Lake and by many nieces, nephews and cousins. Remembering my Uncle Francis Dobratz. His wit and sense of humor could make anyone laugh. His determination and independence was inspiring. To his wife Paulette, I know you will miss him but remember his laugh and it will make you smile. Your loving niece Rosanne Willoughby.
