LECLERC, Frances – Passed away at Health Sciences North on Monday, January 18, 2016 at the age of 79. Frances was born in Ottawa on September 22, 1936 to the late Violet & Albert. She was predeceased by her husband Roland; grandson Patrick and siblings Harry, Dorothy & Florence. Frances is survived by her children Pat (Sandra) Leclerc, Richard (Catherine) Leclerc, Mike (Louise) Leclerc & Debbie (Peter) Kilian; 9 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren and sister Violet. She had a great love for her family especially her grandchildren & great grandchildren. Frances was employed at the Kirkland & District Hospital for many years until her retirement in 1996. As per mom’s wishes cremation has taken place and a private family service will be held in the spring. Frances will be laid to rest in the Kirkland Lake Cemetery. Donations in Frances’ memory may be made to the Kirkland & District Hospital Foundation (P.O. Box 3000 Kirkland Lake, ON. P2N 3P4), Timmins & District Hospital Foundation (700 Ross Ave. E. I would like to extend my condolences to my very long time friend Fran ‘s family …..you’s won’t remember me but I knew you’s when you were very young ….I use to babysit the older ones….born before I left in 1961…. I use to see your mom & dad every summer when I visited my sister Judy…..had coffee with your mom afew summers ago….I will miss seeing her when I go home next year & our yearly exchange of Christmas cards….she was a lovely person to know & will be remembered dearly by many people….she is now with the love of her life Rolly……may they both r.i.p. together forever…..Diane Lalonde.

To Fran’s Family, I was so sad to learn of Fran’s death in the Northern News today. We worked together for many years and had some wonderful times. Fran was such a dedicated worker and so dependable. Aunt Fran was a loving and caring person, especially when it came to her family. I will miss our weekly chats and the joys and laughter she brought into my life. She will be forever missed. Rest in Peace, Aunt Fran.

It is with a heavy heart that I offer my prayers and condolences to the family of Fran. I new her as a kind and wonderful lady and I will most surely miss her smile and her winks at me as she headed past me to her seat after Holy Communion at church on Sundays.
