It is with great sadness that the family of Fernande Gagnon announces her passing at the Kirkland & District Hospital on Tuesday, September 28, 2010. Fernande was predeceased by her husband Léon in 1990; her son Robert Gagnon 2010; her parents Joseph and Beatrice (née Tremblay); her brothers Joe, Andy, Claude, Paul Petit; her sister Pauline Harris and numerous nieces and nephews. Fernande is lovingly remembered and deeply missed by her children Roseanne Villeneuve, Fran (Alex) Danis and Rejean Gagnon; her cherished granddaughters Lisa and Tina Danis; her daughter in law Sheila Jack; her brother Fern Petit as well as the entire extended family. The family will receive relatives and friends at the MONETTE & FRENCH FUNERAL HOME (450 Government Road West, Kirkland Lake, ON., P2N 3L1) on Thursday, September 30, 2010 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held from the “Teck-Hughes” Chapel of the funeral home on Friday, October 1st, 2010 at 10:30 a.m. with Father H. Touaboy officiating. Fernande will be laid to rest in the Kirkland Lake Cemetery following the funeral service. Donations in Fernande’s memory may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation (P.O.
