I would like to offer my condolences to Gramma’s family: to my mother Leona, and to Aunt Helen, Uncle Ted and Aunt Margaret, Aunt Vivian and Uncle Rudy, Aunt Lorraine and Uncle Bill, Uncle Arnold and Aunt Sherry, and to all my cousins and to my siblings. Although I don’t have many memories, those that I have of Gramma and Grampa were always very special. Since we always lived so far way we wrote to our grandparents as children and Gramma responded to our letters. I remember what beautiful handwriting Gramma had. My sister Darlene and I visited them in our late teens and I remember making strawberry short cake with Gramma and it was so good. I want to sincerely thank our Kirkland Lake family for the care of Gramma in her elderly years.
