The Piche Family It was with deep sorrow to learn of the passing of Eva. She will ever be remembered as a WONDERFUL LADY. When I joined the Student Services department I soon realized that she was an essential member of our department. Students would come to the department just to see Mrs. Piche. The love, comfort and support they received from her was truly cherished. Her being a part of KLCVI helped to make it the best school ever. My family and I send our sincere condolences to the Piche Family.

To the Piche family. We are sorry to hear of the passing of your mother, grandmother and great grandmother. I remember working with Eva , she was such a good helper to us in the student service department at KLCVI. Eva was always willing and capable of handling the extra paper work for us to prepare for activities such as grade 8 orientation, parent open house, and University/College visitations. Eva also worked extremely hard during student time table conflicts, and during University/College application time. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all during these difficult time. I am saddened to hear of Mrs. Piche’s passing. I have fond memories of terrorizing her in the guidance office in High school and her only laughing at me, and then later in life, becoming best friends with Marty. So very sorry for your loss. RIP Mrs. Piche. She was the best.

As a child, I have such fond memories of stopping in to see my dad (Doug Cooper, I am the middle of his 3 children) in the guidance office. Mrs. Piche was always so genuinely happy to see us and ask us what we were up to. (I also remember her giving us her chair on wheels to go out in the hall and push each other down the wheelchair ramp in it! She often giggled at that!) She was such a lovely, pleasant person and I know that my dad so enjoyed , trusted and valued working with her all of those years. She is a lovely memory for the Cooper clan and know that she will be missed be all of her family. Our condolences.

Oh Piche family! I am so sorry to read of your Moms passing. Her patience in dealing with young me would have tried a saint, but never your Mom. Our parents may be gone, but they are never forgotten. We are who we are because of them.

Mrs. Piche (I would never call her Eva) was like a second mom to me when we lived next door to her on Hudson Bay Ave. Beans and wieners for Saturday lunch when we came back from the playground. Bandaids when we had cuts. And she obviously impacted hundreds of lives through her work at KLCVI. What a wonderful, productive, loving life. I may not have seen her for decades, but I will never forget her.

So very sorry to hear of Eva’s passing. We became good friends during the days when we both lived on Third St. We met up usually after work on Fridays for a dinner at the old Princess restaurant.
