BORGFORD, Eleanor

Ellie Pearl Borgford of Earlton died October 21, 2010, at the Englehart and District Hospital. She was born in Harley Township to Roy and Pearl Middleton and in 1959 married George Borgford in Thornloe. Mrs. Borgford lived here her entire life. She loved her family and friends, cards and any games, music nights and games on the computer. She was a member of the Hilliardton Golden Age Club and the Timiskaming Diabetes program. Mrs. Borgford is survived by her husband George; children Chris (wife Sue), Doug, Ben (wife Cathy), Peter (wife Sylvette) and Julie (husband Robert Gauthier); 15 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren; and her sisters Sadie Matthews and Judy Thorpe. She was predeceased by her brothers Jim Middleton and Murray McMillan, parents Roy and Pearl Middleton. The funeral was arranged by Perrin Funeral Chapel in New Liskeard with the service conducted by Reverend Micol Cottrell. Burial is at the Kenabeek Rose Grove Cemetery. Relatives and friends attending the service from out of town came from Port Hope, Sarnia, Val Gagne, North Bay, Orillia and Toronto.
