It is with deep sadness that we announce Elaine’s unexpected passing at her home in Larder Lake on Saturday, July 29th, 2017. Born on July 6, 1946 to the late Douglas and Rhoda (née Patterson) Christian. She is lovingly remembered and deeply missed by her daughter Mandy (Jessie) Siebert, Wayde and Shayne Orvis; their father Earl Orvis; her grandchildren Jane, Jill, Jeremy-Kash Siebert, Emily and Eden Mulvahill-Orvis; her dear sisters Carolyne (late Murvin) Wright, Wendy (late Jim) Green, Theresa Bourne and Lois (Chris) Moore. Elaine lived her life to its fullest and looked forward to her winter escapes every year. She also enjoyed being part of the Red Hat Ladies of Larder Lake.Celebration of Life:

so sorry for yur loss of elaine orvis. we worked together way back in 89 at the golden palms restaurant in kirkland lake. she was a hard worker and a good person all the time.it was surely a pleasure to work with her then.i will miss her dearly. rest in peace my dear friend.

On behalf of the Red Hat Ladies of Larder Lake, I offer our condolences to Elaine’s family. We certainly enjoyed her company at our monthly get togethers where we celebrated each other’s birthdays and an evening out to relax and have fun.. We celebrated Elaine’s 71st birthday last month .
