In memory of Mr. Earl Knott, who passed away at the Temiskaming Hospital on Monday June 30, 2014 at the age of 70. Earl will be missed by his loving wife Claire Ann Gendron, his dear children Brenda (Tony Green), Karen and Carole, his step children Duane Gendron, James Gendron (Andrea) and Brock Gendron (Charlene), his grandchildren Sheri Lovelace (Jeff), Casey Renaud (Justin), Alex Renaud (Lizzy), Alana Frappier, Aysha Frappier (Justin), David Woods, Katey Woods and Olivia Woods, his great grandchildren Sara and Madison Lovelace, Carson Bougie and Sofia Renaud, his step grandchildren Emmett and Kayla Gendron, his brothers and sisters Gert Gaboury, Berna Antler, Sheila Knott, Victor Knott (Judy), Carolyn Huck, Linda Knott (Darren Gray),Bruce Knott (Yvonne), and his sisters-in-law Mary Knott, Donna Knott and Janet Knott and many nieces and nephews. Earl was predeceased by his parents Christopher and Lena Knott, his son Bernard (Bernie) Knott , his grandaughter Kayla Aitchison, his brothers Dale, Sam, Robert, his sister Lill Carleton and his brother-in-laws Wilfred Gaboury and Les Carleton. Earl spent many years farming, mining and operating heavy equipment. When he was not working he enjoyed his horses and competing in horse draws, as well as, hunting, playing cards and spending time with family and friends. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, July 5, 2014 at 2pm from the Hilliardton Hall followed by a potluck luncheon. Mr. Kenny Doupe officiating. If desired, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, the Kidney Foundation or the Temiskaming Diabetes Program will be greatfully acknowledged.
