Dwight McNeil,

DWIGHT MCNEIL,

2021

In Memory of Dwight McNeil (Heart and Soul of Gold McNeil) – Dwight McNeil was born July 31st, 1954 in Hawkesbury, ON and passed over on Sat, July 16, 2011, at around, 10:00pm ending his long fight with cancer. Dwight’s parents are Eilene and Thomas McNeil and brothers and sisters, Anne, June, Janet, Alma, Brooks, Carter, Lynnwood and Todd. He is the father of one son, Nathan McNeil who was born in Barrie on Oct 5th, 1977. The majority of Dwights work life was spent in the mines and driving taxi in KL. At his heart, Dwight recognized the inequality in the world and wanted to make a difference, but was at a loss as to how to go about it. This saddened him when he really thought about it, often times, leaving him with the feeling of powerlessness. Dwight was a beautiful soul and had a heart of gold. He did not have much in the way of material wealth but he was one of the richest in spirit. He truly set an example of selflessness and had one of the greatest of heart capacities. In this, he is one of the most powerful of all, the heart being the strongest force on earth! Your heart lives on within us Dwight! Through us and into the future your hearts longing will be met. In time, with you by our side, we will heal ourselves in this world and all will be equal again!!! Until we meet again my father, Son, Brother, Uncle and Friend! A memorial service will be held on Friday, July 22, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. from the “Teck-Hughes” Chapel of the funeral home. Burial in the Kirkland Lake Cemetery will follow.Offer Condolence for the family of Dwight McNeil

So sorry to hear of Dwight’s passing. My thoughts and prayers are with all of his family at this time. I’m sure him and Brooks are chatting up a storm and catching up on all the news since Brooks left us. Hugs to the family.
