Our deepest sympathies for your loss. Your parents were a huge part of living in Larder Lake,
My deepest condolences on the loss of your Mom Ted. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family
Dear Lois, Terry, “Teddie” and family- So sorry to hear of your Mom’s passing but am sure that her very long life continued to be eventful over those years. I often think back to our high school days at KLCVI, skiing at Larder Lake, your Dad’s Munari ski boots that I bought and enjoyed for years. I remember your Dad as being the consummate gentleman, Lois and your Mom being this very pretty lady with a great sense of curiosity which was likely partly responsible for her longevity. I get up to K.L. from time to time as my eldest brother, sister-in-law and family are still there. It is still “home” after all these years of living in the south, Oakville, for the past 35 years and Montreal before that where 2 of my three daughters were born. I have 2 grandsons (the young Pollocks) and one granddaughter (the young German) as 2 of my daughters married Europeans. My youngest has been with her boyfriend ( Vic Hadfield of the New York Rangers, grandson) for years with no sign of any marriage yet, but they seem very happy together. Myself, I left banking after many years and went into real estate which still keeps me busy, am divorced, but am still good friends with my Ex and have done a fair amount of travelling around the world in the last 25 or so years. I’ve been on the Board of the local historical society for many years as well and that also keeps me busy. Life is good and everybody is well at the moment. Hope that the Ryans and the Seymours are also doing well. Would love to hear from you sometime. Again, my condolences at the loss of your Mother, Lois and also for the recent loss of your Mom, Terry. I was glad to hear that she had a long and happy life as well. I thought that she was a great lady and a wonderful mother to the Ryan clan. Cheers, Jim Young.
