WILSON, Donald
In loving memory of Mr. Donald Wilson of Henwood Twp. who passed away at his residence, on Monday, August 06, 2018 at the age of 83. He was born December 2, 1934 in New Liskeard to William (Bill) & Wilhelmina Wilson. Donald remained on the family farm his entire life except for short periods of time when he worked along side his father in the bush & the sawmill. He was even educated across from the farm. Donald had enjoyed his life on the family farm. He had recently sold the machinery but wanted to remain on the farm which he did until his passing. He was predeceased parents Bill & Wilhelmina, brother George and brother-in-laws Amos Keith & Alex McMurray. He is survived by brothers Gordon (Shirley), Bruce (Twyla), sisters Margaret McMurray & Ruth Webb (John) and sister-in-law Rita Wilson. He was loved and will be missed by his family The family of the late Mr. Donald Wilson received friends at the McDonald Funeral Home, Englehart, on Thursday, August 9, from 7 - 9 pm. A Chapel Service was held at McDonald Funeral Home on Friday, August 10, 2018 at 11:00 am. Rev. Elaine Lush officiated. Interment followed at the Rosegrove Cemetery in Henwood Twp. Pallbearers were nephews Bill & & Steve Wilson, Dave Smallwood, Gabe Spadetto, Roger Keith & Neil Culhane. In memory contributions to Kenabeek Community Hall or the Temiskaming Palliative Care will be greatly appreciated.
