MCPHEE, Donald JosephSurrounded by his loving family, Donald passed away peacefully on Tuesday April 21, 2020 at Teck-Pioneer Residence. Donald was born on May 25, 1925 to the late Lily (née Blakely) and John McPhee.  Predeceased by his loving wife of 71 years, Ruby (2018). He is survived by his daughter Marilyn Cortez (Wayne Hawthorne) of Picture Butte, Alberta; grandsons Andrew (Shantel) Prus of Kirkland Lake, Stephen (Marlena) Prus of Alberta; and precious great-grandchildren Shelby, Rayla and Demitry.  Donald was one of 14 children; Delbert, John, Gordon, Lyman, Marie Robar (née McPhee), Ruby Lindsay (née McPhee), Pearl Long (née McPhee), Charles, Verena Ruddy (née McPhee), Bruce, Courtney, Malcolm and Evelyn Rae (née McPhee).Given the circumstances, there will be no visitation or service at this time.Burial will take place at the Kirkland Lake Cemetery in Spring 2020.If desired, donations in Donald’s memory may be made to Multiple Myeloma Canada, 1255 Trans Canada, Suite 160, Dorval, QC H9P 2V4) or Teck Pioneer Residence, 145A Government Road East, Kirkland Lake, ON P2N 3P4.Offer Condolence for the family of Donald McPhee

Dear Marilyn It is with great sadness that we received the news of you fathera passing today April 21 2020. We have such wonderful memories of that visit, and will always remember your Dads infectious laugh and chuckles. What a wonderful picture of your Dad with great grandson Dmitry. You can just see the joy in your Dads face while holding him.

Sorry to hear about Uncle Don’s passing, he was a great Man. He will be sorely missed by his Niece Jackie { Jean-Guy] and her family. {Roger, Cathy, Andre, Aline and their family. God bless.
