MILLS, Don Duke

In loving memory of Mr. Donald Boyd Duke Mills, of Chamberlain Twp., who passed away at Englehart & District Hospital, on Monday, May 5, 2014 at the age of 92. Born in Chamberlain Twp., March 25, 1922. He served in World War 11 from 1940 to 1945 with the Cameron Highlander and was part of the first wave of D-Day Landing. He married Florence Edna Bates Oct. 12, 1949 and worked with the Ontario Northland Railway as a brakeman and conductor. Pre-deceased by his parents Harland & Lucille Mills, sister Helen & 2 brothers Sam & Bill. He is survived by his wife Edna, 1 daughter Lynda (Bryce) Wilson, 2 sons Garry (Linda) & Boyd (Darlene) Mills, 5 grandchildren, Donna & Jeffrey Wilson, James, Crystal & Terralyn Mills, 2 great grandchildren Tatum Wilson & Dominic Mills. The family of the late Mr. Donald Boyd Duke Mills will receive friends at the McDonald Funeral Home, Englehart, Wednesday, May 7, from 2 - 4 & 7 - 9 pm. A Legion service will be held at 7 pm in the Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will be held at McDonald Funeral Home on Thursday, May 8, at 11:00 am. Stephen Wuerch officiating. Interment at the Englehart Cemetery. In memory contributions to charity of your choice will be greatly appreciated.
