PAANANEN, Debbie – It is with deep sadness that we announce Debbie’s passing after a long courageous battle with cancer at the Kirkland & District Hospital on Monday, August 1, 2011. Debbie was predeceased by her mother Gwendolyn (née Ringrose) Leclair-Daoust; stepfather Clayton Daoust; brother Jack Leclair (Lena) and sister Deanna Perusse (Tony). Survived and lovingly remembered by her spouse Terry; sons Joshua and Scott (Danielle); step-daughter Patti MacKenzie (Scott); precious grandchildren Abigail, Amber, Avery, Maija, Jayden and Benjamin; step-grandson Cameron; brothers Richard Leclair (Joan) and Donald Daoust; sister-in-law Karina (Norm) Paiement; brothers-in-law Randy Paananen (Patricia) and Robert Paananen (Kathy); parents-in-law Robert and Evelyn Paananen as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. A private family service will be held. When I come to the end of the road, and the sun has set for me, I hope you will realize my pain at last is free. Miss me a little . . . but not too long And not with your Head bowed low, Remember the love that we once shared Miss me . . . but let me go. For this is a journey that we all must take And each must go alone; it’s all a part of a master plan. A step on the road to home.
