McLELLAN, Thomas Daniel “Dan”Dan passed away peacefully, on his own terms, with cool determination and quiet dignity at the Kirkland and District Hospital in Kirkland Lake, Ontario on Monday, April 6, 2020 at the age of 69. Predeceased by his parents Robert M. “Bud” McLellan and Jane McLellan (née Gibson). Survived by his loving sister Roberta Jordan (Jack), niece Kelly Armstrong (David), niece Kerry McCallum (Christopher), nephew Cory Jordan, great-nephew Jordan Armstrong, and great-nieces Addison and Raeghan McCallum, all of Ottawa, Ontario. A drummer in his youth, Dan was a lifelong music lover and a voracious reader, interested in widely varied subjects. Friends and family will fondly remember him for his mix of playful humour and pugnacity.Family will welcome friends at the FRENCH FAMILY FUNERAL HOME (111 Burnside Dr, Kirkland Lake, ON, P2N 3L1) on Wednesday, August 19th, 2020 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A private interment will follow.DONATIONS:

Francis, Lynn, Keith, Laurie and Darcy. We are Dannys cousins. Our mothers were three sisters who were attached at the faulty hips. We all hopped to it at each sisters word. We grew up with three moms and, at times seven siblings, including Roberta and Danny (counting Suzanne). We are sad for Dannys last journey. We love him and were certain hes being greeted by the best welcoming we know is possible. We and Roberta are so very proud of Kerry, Kelly, Corey and families for their love and commitment to Dan.
