Matt and family
As a friend of Matt, Colleen welcomed me at the cottage for a few summer weekends. From the moment we met she felt like an old friend. She was so vibrant with such a warm and full personality. We connected over our love of crafting, and the fact that I brought my dog didnt hurt either. She was also hilarious, regaling me with all kinds of family stories, and poking gentle fun at Matt. All this to say, she touched a lot of lives and will be sorely missed. Sending my love to the family.

Keep her close, Matt, and she'll never get too far from you. I offer my deepest condolences, as any other words are meaningless in a time like this; in situation of this magnitude. Keep the memories warm. Much love.

Mitch
My condolences to you and Matt.
What I remember the most about Your mom, on great happy days she had a sparkle in her eyes.
It just seems like yesterday we would sit on the side lines and watch you play soccer . She was you number 1 fan .
Condolences

Colleen Carey’s family and friends
I am shocked and saddened to see this news. Though I didn’t know Colleen well, my interaction with her in my visit to the Land Registry Office in a time of stress left us very bonded. She was incredibly thoughtful, helpful and empathetic. I felt I’d met a very special person and we spoke a couple of times after. When I went back about a year after our meeting I was so disappointed to learn that she had retired. I’d wished I could have told her how important she was with her experience and knowledge in that office. I missed that in interfacing with new staff.
So, not that I need to say, I’d like her family to know that her smart kindness to a stranger only tells me how special she was to you. I am so sorry for your loss.

My sincere condolences. I met Colleen when she arrived at the Land Registry in Haileybury. I worked at the courthouse next door and saw her every day for many years. We had many good chats and lots of laughs. She spoke often of her boys. She has left you way too soon!

So sorry to read of Colleen's passing.
Colleen and I worked together at the Land Registry Office #54 District of TIMiskaming between 2001 and 2008.
Colleen was my Deputy aka right hand person.
Her work ethics were second to none in 'Professionalism'.
She often spoke of her boys with Pride and Joy.
Second to family was her love of the cottage down near Peterborough.
Thank You Colleen for having my back and for your dedicated Public Service.
You have earned your rest...
'God Bless' to your boys!!

I just received word today of your mom’s passing. This is such shocking and sad news. I remember fondly all the times we spent together when you all lived here in Thunder Bay and as well the time spent with you all in New Liskeard. Your mom‘s loving and bubbly personality made everyone feel so welcome. She will be missed. Take comfort in the memories of your very special mom. It is through these memories you will find that she will always be with you. Sending my heartfelt condolences, love and big hugs. Myra
