Passed away at Extendicare Kirkland Lake on Saturday, February 17, 2018 at the age of 82 years. He is predeceased by his step son John Sampson Jr., his step daughter Rita-Rae Sampson, his parents Einar and Lempi  Mahonen, his first wife Patricia Mohonen and his brother Hugo Hemilla.  Clave is survived by his wife Rita Mahonen and sons Mark & Michael Mahonen, his step grandchildren Tia, Shyla and Skylar; his nephews Henri and Timo and his niece Cindi all of Australia.  A celebration of Clave’s life will be held this summer at a date and time to be announced.AquaCremation:
