CHRISSIE IRENE LANDERS,

LANDERS, Chrissie. – It is with deep sadness that the family of Chrissie Landers (Smith) announces her passing on March 22, 2015 at the age of 90. Chrissie was predeceased by her parents William and Sarah Smith, brother William and sisters Beatrice and Phyllis. She is survived by her children Brian (Patti) of Sesekinika and Michael (Karen) of Winnipeg. She will be greatly missed by her grandchildren Amanda (Shawn) Shail and Calvin Duncan-Landers (Maryanne) and great grandchildren Addison and Deegan. Chrissie is also survived by her brother Ken. As per her wishes, Chrissie will be cremated and no service will be held. Donations in Chrissie’s memory may be made to the Alzheimer Society (70 Cedar Street South, Timmins, ON P4N 2G8) or to the Extendicare Resident Council (155 Government Road East, Kirkland Lake, ON P2N 3P4).Offer Condolence for the family of Chrissie Irene Landers

Dear Brian & Michael, We were sad to read of your mum’s passing today. We have known her for many years since your dad worked with my dad in the school system, then as a neighbour on Federal Street and a co-worker with Doug at Northern College. We always thought the world of her! Please accept our sympathy at her loss. Chris always had a big smile every time we met her. We will remember her that way.
