CARY DUBREUIL,

DUBREUIL, Cary (1959-2018)
It is with heartbreaking sadness that we share the loss of our husband, father, son, brother, and friend, Cary Dubreuil, at Sudbury Health Sciences North on March 7, 2018. Born September 15, 1959 in Mississauga, Cary grew up at the heart of a large and loving family. An avid outdoorsman, Cary loved nothing more than spending his time in the sun and fresh air puttering around the yard, landscaping and creating a backyard oasis. He enjoyed fishing and hunting partridge, usually with a pint-sized side-kick decked out in hunter’s orange! And, he was always busy in the kitchen, cooking a delicious feast for all to enjoy — he really loved to share his love of food! Shouts of “encouragement” from the man cave in the basement will attest to Cary’s enthusiastic support of “his” sports teams — a long time Habs fan, he also passed down this love to his hockey-playing children! He cheered avidly for the Bo’Sox, and, of course, on any given Sunday, the Indianapolis Colts had his undivided attention. (Such was his admiration … you’ll note the naming of kid #5!) But, most of all, he could be counted on to spend time with his young children for whom he was the sun and moon. Though Cary’s health declined in the past couple of years with illnesses preventing him from participating fully in all of their activities and adventures, he was a constant and engaged presence in their world gifting them with his time and attention. Left behind to miss him terribly are Cary’s wife, Megan (Mullins) Dubreuil, and their children: Carys, Colt, and Charlie of Kirkland Lake; his adult children: Ashlee, Tyler (Kristel), and Brandon (Freda); and, grandchildren: Sammy and Mia — all of Mississauga. He is also survived by his parents, Marcel and Darlene (Basso) Dubroy of Mississauga; his sisters, Sheryl (Bob) Keene of Pennsylvania, and Kathy (Jack) Lee of Mississauga; his brothers, Robbie of Mississauga, and Todd (Cayley) of Niagara-on-the-Lake; and, myriad nieces and nephews. A celebration of Cary’s life loves, and legacy will occur at a later date. AquaCremation:

Cary had a sharp mind for business. His friendly openness stimulated me to think about the endless possibilities one could achieve through hard work. I wish I could have spent more time with him, but I was aware of how busy he was with family and work. My deepest condolences to his family.
