PRESSEAULT, Carson

1946 - 2016

Carson Adélard Presseault Dec. 14, 1946 – Jan. 19, 2016 Carson passed away peacefully at home, at the age of 69, surrounded by his family after a courageous battle with cancer. Laughs and memories were shared, just as he wanted. Carson grew up in Judge. He was the oldest of nine children. He started working at fourteen. Starting as a labourer, then working his way up to driving trucks. He drove for various contractors hauling gravel, logs and lumber. He eventually became self-employed; hauling lumber into Northern United States. As the years went by, he wanted to try something new; he had an opportunity to sell trailers at Temisko. Given his knowledge and experience; it was a perfect fit. He retired in 2013; but worked driving truck in the summer during the construction season. He was a hard worker and had an amazing work ethic. At 68, he could outwork people twice as young. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and helping others when needed. Family and friends were always welcomed. He had a great sense of humor and a quick comeback for every situation. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, Council 8619. Carson is survived by; his wife Yvette (nee Benoit); son Paul (Nancy) Presseault of New Liskeard; daughter Jenny (Steve) Nychuk of Englehart; Angie (Jeff) Manners of New Liskeard; Jody (Mandy) Lamoureux of New Liskeard; grandchildren Riley, Marja & Micheala Presseault; Nate Nychuk; Aiden, Jackson & Hannah Manners; Spencer & Cohen Lamoureux; siblings Ross (Carole); Anna (Charlie); Eva (Mac); Debbie (Norm); Carol (Allan); Toni (Lenny); sisters-in-law Liette Presseault and Lise Roy Presseault; numerous brothers- and sisters-in law; several nieces and nephews. Cremation arragements were made by Carson at Perrin Funeral Chapel in New Liskeard. As per his request; no service or memorial will be held. Interment will be held in the summer at the New Liskeard Catholic Cemetery. Donations to the New Liskeard Bikers Reunion or a charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated.
