Sandy, Shelly and I send out heart-filled condolences upon hearing of Carl passing. We have missed him since moving but the feeling was intensified upon hearing the news. I especially loved the exchange of stories of ‘the hunt’ or standing out front freezing while the dog’s had their ‘yard time’… or watching him plow the drive from the comfort of my front window. He would always smile and wave like a kid on his bike. Peace to you. With Love Shelly and Rob Slote Wasaga Beach

Shelly & Rob Slote, March 1, 2021

Thank you, nice to hear from you. He did enjoy his four wheeler.

Sandra Hanson, March 1, 2021

Very sorry to learn of Carls passing, I know he will be missed. 18 years have passed since he accepted me as a rookie into his platoon, and he made quite an impression on me as a new police officer. He was the most gifted at arguing his point, even if he agreed with you! The benefit of this was we knew he had our back anytime a criminal came to complain about us. He had a great sense of humour, and valued hard work, team work and looking after his people – all things I now value as a Sergeant today. His legacy lives on in those of us who will carry his values into the future.

Trina Gosse (nee Buisson), March 1, 2021

Thank you Trina, you all deserve to have a sergeant who have your backs.
