WADGE, Bessie
Bessie Wadge After a long battle with cancer, Bessie Wadge died January 8, 2010, at the Temiskaming Hospital. She was born in Kerns Township on March 18, 1919, to Edson and Isabel Jibb. Educated at Highland School, she married Samuel Wadge in Kerns and was a homemaker. Mrs. Wadge, who was active in the Women's Institute of Kerns, moved from the homestead in 2005 to Market Street. She was a resident of Northdale Manor at the time of her death. Mrs. Wadge was predeceased by her husband Sam in 1990, brothers Harry, Jack and Bill; sisters Orca and Elsie. She is survived by her son Les, daughters Susan and Lynn; sister Edith; 10 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. The funeral was arranged by Perrin Funeral Chapel with the service conducted by Kitty Miller. Burial is at the Kerns Cemetery. Condolences and donations may be left at www.perrinfuneralchapel.com.
