I’m thinking of the huge smile on Wayne’s face, the laughter, the jokes and his bigger than life sense of humour. My condolences to this entire family and circle of friends, but especially to Marlene, his children, and his other fun-loving siblings, Tom, Brian and Sharon. Wayne brought a bit of brightness to every family event. Rest in peace.

I often thought of Wayne and all the funny little saying he had . I find my self repeating many of these at work and then looking at all the stares I get . Working with Wayne was one of the highlight of my life . He will always be missed and I know the “Dude” will be watching over us .

John & I were so sorry to hear of Wayne’s passing. Our sincerest sympathy to you, Marlene, & members of Wayne’s family during this time of loss. Wayne was always laughing & joking with everyone; he always greeted you with a friendly smile & I remember him always ‘teasing’ us when we were young … and we shared many freckles! I passed this sad news on to my mom (Maureen) who is and has been in Calgary for the past two months.

Very sorry to hear the news of Wayne s passing! We had such great fun and memories playing old-Timer hockey and slopitch. It was always such a pleasure to meet him on our periodic trips to KL and solve the problems of the town and occasionally the world ! What a great laid-back guy.
