It was with great sadness that I learned of your Mother’s passing. She was friends of my parents Cyril (Cy) and Yvette Hollingsworth. We had been friends of your parents and close neighbors when they lived on King Street and us on Park Street. Diane, you and I had been friends when we were younger and Mom kept in touch for many years. We moved to Larder Lake then Sudbury and lost touch for a long time and were reunited at my Aunt’s funeral. She was a warm and friendly lady and always came up in our childhood memories. My brother Brian and I were twins . My deepest condolences.

I was deeply saddened by the death of Audrey. She was a very special lady: a wonderful Mother, Grandmother, Mother-in-law and friend. My thoughts and payers go out to all the family. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her. Ted

I am so sorry for your loss. She had expressed her fear of falling asleep at night. My thoughts are with you. Jenifer Simpson, Her foot Lady. I will miss our friendly loving talks. She loved her family dearly. Take Care.

She was my Mom’s cousin but my Aunt Aud. A beautiful, great lady, always a hug and smile when I saw her. I’m sad for the loss you are experiencing. I hope her and my Mom have hooked up and shared a coffee or two. Sitting here thinking of her, “give yourself a big hug” is echoing in my mind.

Please accept our families deepest sympathy for the loss of your mother. Your mom was so kind to us on the recent loss of our own mother (Helen Parkes) when we were at the apartment on 5th Street. She remembered all of us from when we grew up in “Federal”. Time and memories…..these will help ease your sorrow and give you peace. Ray & Sue Perrier and the Parkes families

To all of Audrey’s family I wish to send my sincere sympathy. I first met your mom 50+ years ago when we were neighbours on Park St. You were all very young and David use to play with my son Marcel, he couldn’t speak English and David couldn’t speak French but they got along famously, your mom always had a good laugh listening to them. Then later on in life I worked with her at Eaton’s Mail Order, we still had good laughs about that time whenever we met. The last time I saw your mom was last May when we went to Timmins with the senior bus, we sat together and had a good chin wag about the pass. She was a great lady and I know that she will be missed by all her friends, me included. Take care and find comfort that she is at peace. Simone Proulx
