MILLER, Audrey
In loving memory of Audrey Miller who passed away peacefully at her families home on January 16, 2014 at the age of 90. Predeceased by her beloved husband Thomas Clare Miller, her son Barry Miller and her grandson Brian Field. Loving mother of Beth (Murray Field), Edith (John McCall) and mother in law of Louise. Dear grandmother of David (Joanne), Kevin (Debbie), and Jill (Steve) Miller, Heather (Glen Way), Adam (Allyson) and granddaughter-in-law Wendy Field. great grandmother of Mark, Leah, Lucas, Teagan and Rylan. Audrey was the "Food Supervisor" at Englehart and District Hospital until her retirement in 1985. She was an awesome cook, a knitter, gardener, decorator, crafter, bowler, a generous friend to many and she loved to travel. Many of the clubs Mrs. Miller belonged to were the Women's Institute, the Royal Canadian Legion (for over 60 years), and the Food Subervisors Association. She was always willing to pitch in when ever an extra hand was needed in many of the voluntary activities. Audrey also served as the President of the Residents Council at the new Northdale Manor which was her home from the year it opened until her death. A celebration of Audrey's life will be held in the spring. If desired memorial contributions may be made to the O.S.P.C.A. or the Residents Council of the Northdale Manor.
