In loving memory of Mrs. Astrid Viola Spence who passed away at Kirkland & District Hospital, on Sunday, April 01, 2012 at the age of 85. Pre-deceased by her husband George Owen Spence, parents Akseli & Fanni Niemi, nephew Ralph A. Niemi, sister Rauni Pratt and brother Onervo A. Niemi. She is survived by her daughter Karen Elizabeth, Brother Ralph A. Niemi (Dian), nephews Howard Pratt (Robin), Ken Spence (Betty), Reino Niemi (Barb), her nieces Sandra Pratt, Wendy Niemi, Karen Malissani (Peter), Beverly Ripley (Wesley), Cynthia Levesque (Luc) and by many great nieces and great nephews. A “Celebration of Life” will be held at the Kenogami & District Fire Hall on Saturday April 7, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. Pastor Peter Panabaker officiating. In memory contributions to Canadian Cancer Society, Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Temiskaming Palliative Care Network will be greatly appreciated by the family.
