It is with great sadness that the family of Arnold Merrick announces his passing at home surrounded by family on Saturday, August 9, 2008 at the age of 74 years. Arnold was predeceased by his wife Lucille and parents Owen and Reta Merrick. He will be lovingly remembered by his children Ivan (lise) Merrick of King Kirkland, Rita (Joe) Davis of Kenora, Laurie (Mario) Coallier of Fort McMurray, Linda Merrick of Edmonton and Christine (Dave) Harnett of Fort McMurray; grandchildren Josée, Yan, Jared, Paige, Clark, Erica, Danielle, Brendan and Tyler; great grandchildren Daniel-Steven, Jean-Paul, Samuel and Evan; sisters Vivian (Delbert) Peters of King Kirkland, Marlene Chouinard of Crystal Lake; brother Carmen (Lynn) Merrick of North Bay; sisters in law Laura (Jack) Kellaway of Kelowna, Jeannette Chouinard of St. Catharines; brother in law Rheal (Betty) Chouinard of Smith Falls, Conrad (Paulette) Chouinard of Iroquois Falls and Larry Deschamps of Coniston. A funeral service will be held from the “Teck-Hughes” Chapel of the Monette & French Funeral Home on Thursday, August 14, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. with The Reverend David Naylor officiating. Arnold will be laid to rest along with his wife Lucille in the Kirkland Lake Cemetery.
