Its been 1 week now, and my grandmother is gone.. Her number and picture is in my cell phone.. What is hard is knowing that if I dial..she won’t answer..That is the hardest thing to accept is that my best friend will not be there to share a laugh or two…even if its at my expense… I love being the victim of her jokes. Never underestimate the impact a grandparent has on one’s life. I have been fortunate enough to have had a grandmother in my life for 48 years. That within itself makes me a privileged person to have such an honour…My sons (Nikola and Luka) are equally happy to have known and loved their great grandmother. She has always been one of their favourite relatives. (Top 3 as my oldest Niko would say). Time will heal my sense of loss…This great woman is in a special place now.. I will never forget her and as much as she has been on my mind everyday since her passing, I will love her forever. I will see you again moja Bobica .. Volim te ! Niko and Luka miss you lots too !
