In loving memory of Mr. André Fortier, who passed away at Health Sciences North in Sudbury on Thursday March 31, 2016 at the age of 80. André will be sadly missed by his loving wife Lucie (née Gauthier), his dear children Charlène (Dan Griffith) and Martin (Gaëtanne), his beloved grandchildren Hana and Sam Griffith and Roger Fortier, his brother Gérald Fortier and his sister Helene Champaigne and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents Willie and Alice (née Leblanc) Fortier, his children Julie and Pierre, his brothers Marcel, Fernand and Bruno and his sisters Cécile Lapointe and Jeanne D'Arc Chalut. André spent many enjoyable hours woodworking and camping with friends and family. He was a proud member of the Elk Lake Legion. The family of the late André Fortier will receive friends at the Elk Lake Nativity Parish on Tuesday, April 5, 2016 from 9:30 am until time for the Mass at 11:00 am. If desired, donations to Camp Quality will be greatfully acknowledged.
