We are all shocked and saddened by the heart-breaking news and pray that you will be comforted by all the wonderful memories Andy and Katie left you with.

We are so saddened and send our sympathies to Kim, Jacki, Danielle and to Kim and Andy’s respective families. We didn’t get a chance to know Katie or her sisters, but we spent a lot of time with Andy in his younger years. He was a great friend with a wicked sense of humour and a twinkle in his eyes. We have wonderful memories of him that still make us laugh to this day. We don’t doubt that Katie had a lot of her father in her. To Kim and family, we all feel your loss and share in your grief.

To have known Andy was a true honor and priviledge. When we speak of mining legends in years to come, Andy Beaudoin you are on that list. I often called him Cash and would laugh in the dry about money and the Leafs while we were getting ready to go underground. Sadly missed but but the memories of legends live on forever.

To Kim and Family, I had the privilege of coming into Andy’s life through hockey as a Holy Name Irish Juvenile coach in the mid 80’s and up until recently whenever we ran into each other at the complex, we had fond recollections of those days! “Beaudy”, as we called him back then, always sported that mischievous grin and was everything you wanted in a team-mate…I am sure I speak for all his former team-mates when I say he will be missed! I am from the US and was watching HNIC, and during the 1st intermission of the game, Don Cherry told the tragic story of Andy and Katie, people I’ve never met, yet it broke my heart so terribly! My thoughts and prayers go out to all of their family and friends. May God keep and comfort you all!
