ALICE MARY ROSICKI,

2021

ROSICKI, Alice Mary (née Belanger) – It is with deep sadness that we announce Alice’s passing at the Kirkland & District Hospital on Tuesday, February 27, 2018 at the age of 96 years. Alice was predeceased by her parents Thomas and Pauline, her husband Victor and seven siblings. Alice was the last of her family. She was born in Verner and moved to Kirkland Lake at a young age. She is survived by her four children Charmaine (George) L’Heureux of Latchford, Valerie Michel of Kitchener, Bruce (Kim) Rosicki of Kirkland Lake, Terry Rosicki of Kirkland Lake, 1 granddaughter Teralee and several nieces and nephews. She had an enormous love for her children and was a pillar of strength for the family. She loved singing, gardening, nature and relaxing in her backyard. Despite her ailing health in the last few years, she was always strong through her faith. She was a member of the Catholic Women’s League for over 50 years and loved her church Holy Name of Jesus Parish. She assisted in the Canadian War Effort working at a munitions factory in Scarborough at the onset of WWII.Visitation:

To the Rosicki Family, Very sorry to hear of the passing of your Mother.

Lorraine Robazza & Family, March 1, 2021

To the Rosicki family and to the many other people whom Alice Mary has touched with her Love: Please accept my sincere condolences in your loss of such a wonderful woman. I was blessed to sing next to her for a few year in the choir at Holy Name of Jesus Parish. She was a gentle and kind woman. In later years when her voice lost its strength, she would always faithfully attend mass, many times weekdays also. When Terry lived out of town, he would come home often and attend Sunday mass with her. I am sorry, but I do not know the other siblings well. I am sure, however that the loss of your mom is felt equally. I pray for comfort and consolation for all as you celebrate her life. For Alice Mary: Eternal rest grant unto her, Oh Lord, and may Your Perpetual Light shine upon her. God bless.

Bruce, I send you and your family my condolence. To have lived to such an advanced age is certainly a blessing, and I am sure you, your family and the entire community gained significantly from that blessing.
