1982 - 2021
Aaron Shawn Kirby suddenly passed away on November 23, 2021, at the age of 39, in his home with loved ones by his side.
Aaron was born on August 4, 1982, in Calgary, Alberta. He moved to Ontario with his family in 1983. Aaron graduated from the Welder Fitter program at Northern College, and worked as a welder for a time, then went on to become a Hardrock Miner before finally finding joy in the field of Home Improvements.
Aaron spent his life building memorable friendships. He was kind, loyal, honest, and dependable. If you were one of the lucky ones to be inside this circle, you knew you had an eternal friend! Aaron found his one true love and very best friend in 2010, when he met Taylor. Together they had two beautiful boys, Asher and Abel, which were the centre of his universe. He was a fiercely proud husband and father. He will remain the Hero in the lives of Asher and Abel.
Aaron was by definition "a Family Man". His dream to live on the lake and surround his family in the great outdoors was realized when he moved his family to Sesekinika Lake. Aaron was happiest when friends and family gathered at the lake, whether it was to his beloved Blue Jays on TV, cruising on the pontoon boat, riding the seadoo, ice-fishing, snow-shoeing, sledding, and of course, playing video games, Aaron loved it all! Aaron was also committed to the community; he was a volunteer firefighter with the Sesekinika Volunteer Fire Brigade.
Aaron will forever be missed by his wife Taylor (Allen), beloved sons Asher Kirby and Abel Kirby; devoted parents Alan and Sandra (Faragher) Kirby; sister Meagan (Dean) Dagelman, nephew Jaxson Dagelman; in-laws Sharon Allen, June "Nan" Simpson, Robert (Natalie) Allen, Lynne Simpson, Pierce Belanger (Savannah), Jagger Allen (Amy), Porter Belanger (Simon), Hunter Allen; aunts and uncles, Lynn Faragher (Paul Tremblay), Peter Kirby (Kim Potter), Brian Kirby; cousins and many friends.
Aaron will be honoured with a lakeside Celebration of Life in 2022, date to be determined.

From growing up together as a teenager and our spontaneous road trips in your parents Mimi van. The fishing trips,four wheeler and skidoo rides. the labyrith days and leaving our families for our long road trips up in northern Manitoba.
