HASTIE, William Gordon Bill
In loving memory of Mr. William (Bill) Hastie, of Kirkland Lake, who passed away at the Sudbury General Hospital, on Wednesday, January 19, 2011 at the age of 72. Born in Kirkland Lake, Bill had been a long time resident and true Kirkland Laker. Bill is survived and loved very much by his wife Patricia Hastie, their three daughters Michele and her husband Murray Shortt, Ericka and her husband Iggy Iwasiewicz, Kelico and her husband Bruce Guertin, his precious grandson and “ buddy†Seth, his sister Judi and her husband Paul Norris. Nephew Matthew and his wife Erika, sister-in-law Margaret and her husband Clifford Riopelle, and several nieces and nephews. For those of you who had the pleasure of knowing our father, he was very loving, thoughtful, caring and a joy to be around. For everyone that met him, his witty sense of humour and interesting stories, had them in laughter and leaving them with a smile on their face. Not only was he a husband, a father and a grandfather, he was also our best friend. We will miss him dearly and think of him every day. In memory contributions to the Kirkland Lake Splash Park, Heart & Stroke Foundation or the charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated. There will be no funeral service.
