To the Family I am very sorry to hear the news concerning Bill . Like many others I can recall him setting pins in the various bowling alleys in KL and being the expert on every sport. He was one of the many unique individuals in the town when almost everyone had a nickname.We always had such interesting conversations and like many I will miss Whiskey Bill !Brian

Everybody loved Bill. Talk to him about what he knew for sure, you never argued because he knew for sure. He marked my perfect game of 450 back in 1988. Had the most gentle demeanor in his eyes when enjoying a good conversation with you! Another famous character of KL folk lore has past and will forever be in my memory!

Cigar Bill or Whiskey taught me how to spot pins at Marys more than 50 years ago and was our honorary rec league hockey coach for more than a decade. Always fun to chat with and get his opinion on sports which he followed religiously. RIP old friend

So sorry to hear this news, such a gentle soul, new him for many years at the bowling alley and then I delivered his meals three times a week, he will be missed. Rest easy Whiskey, say hi to our Mary she is waiting for you with open arms.

My sincere condolence to the Harrington family. I grew up hanging out at their family home as i always hung out with Jimmy in our school days.

Saddened to hear the passing of Whiskey, just spoke to him a few weeks ago….he never forget me, we grew up on the back lane…then many years down at Jerry’s….brought him muffins and (talk baseball), he was always so appreciated, I would tell him NOT to eat them all at once…will miss our visits…RIP.my Friend…so sorry for your loss

Sorry for the families loss. I bowled with him at Jerrys and Wallies bowling alley way back when. He was a very kind and considerate guy. May he Rest In Peace.

My condolences to his family and loved ones. Im sure Mary was waiting with open arms to welcome her friend to heaven. I have so many memories of the two of them growing up, and even once I started working at the bowling alley. Hed always come in for a visit, and wed talk hockey or baseball, depending on the season. And wed make fun of my Dad together. He was such a character. He will be greatly missed. RIP Whiskey.

I am so sorry learn off Bill’s passing. Having known Bill from the pool hall and always enjoyed talking with him He sure enjoyed his cigars back those days. Always pleasant and hard working For Mary. Many great thoughts.
