i would like to send my families deepest condolences to your family. I have known the mr Owens for many years as he lived not too far from my parents place in virginiatown. Mr Owens u will be sadly missed. So so sorry about ur loss.
a V-Town legend has made his way home. He touched so many people on his path. He will surely be missed by all that had the privilege of knowing him. Those that didn’t can certainly see a part of him in his children. He left his mark that’s for sure! Please accept my condolences and get some solace knowing he has finished his path here but is forging another one and meeting up with loved ones he has missed
I first met Mr. Owens at the last Virginiatwon Reunion. He was so gracious to invite us to see his home which was the house I grew up in. My sisters and brothers, and I have the fondest of memories of that house, that property, and of course Vtown. Mr Owens, with his great memory, even remembered a shelf my dad had built in the basement and we all went down to see it. And yes, it was my dad’s handiwork. Another sister wanted some soil from “our property” and Mr. Owens helped me get a whole coffee can full. I loved his stories and the adventures he experienced during his life. He will be missed. He has left behind a large family who will retell his stories through the generations of Owens to follow. God Bless.
My condolences for the passing of your dad. Thinking about you all. Alice Luckey (Girbig)

Both Walter and I extend our deepest condolences with the loss of your beloved father to all the family members. Our hearts are deeply saddened as “Tommy” was one of a kind, always kept us in chuckles, laughter and so loved to hear his stories! Quite the gentleman to say the least, so very caring, kind and giving of himself. I truly believe that your father is now with the love of his life, his beautiful wife Vera, your mother!! He had such a special way of touching everyone’s life especially for Walter and I. Oh the craziest times at the cottages, such memorable and treasured times never to be forgotten. He most assuredly will be missed by all. Know that you are all in our thoughts, hearts and prayers!! God Bless you all, Donna Lowe and Walter Kowbassa
